What our Clients have to say about us :-)

Dear Kathy and Tom,
First I want to thank you for the excellent service and professionalism. It has been a sincere pleasure doing business with you. I have excellent news! Never is in foal and all is well. We were very fortunate. We did not aticipate to breed this early. We were concerned it would take more time to get her in foal due to she shows signs of heat every time we get a stallion in the barn. We have a trianing and rehabilitation facility, so we get a constant flow of new horses. Needless to say she enjoys all the new men in her life. We decided to check her early to give us a head start. The first palp and she was ready. We went to inseminate the second dose the next day, but it was not necessary, she had ovulated. If it were not for the fact your took my phone call at 7:30am and shipped same day we would have spent much more money in breeding expenses. You are much appreciated, and we are looking forward to purchasing more breedings in the future.
Sincerely,
Hermann and Kerry,
Legacy Farm

Dear Kathy,
First, I'd like to thank you and your staff for the wonderful service our farm has received from Tiffany Ranch. We here at the Double-K spent many months researching this years stallions, as we wanted to bring something new and special to New England in our stock for 2001. I received over 25 videos from various breeding facilities all around the US this past February and March. Your stallion Video, as well as your presentation packet was so well put together that there was no question that we were going to be using Tiffany Ranch this year. Your video no only showed you're stallion's capabilities and GREAT breeding stock, but it was by far, the best presentation we had received. As we live on the opposite coast, being able to see what your stallion could produce gave us total confidence in our choice. As a first time customer I was amazed that when I had called you on a Monday to discuss using your stallion, by just using my credit card I had semen arrive from your Ranch the very next morning. The other amazing fact was that this very mare did not take for 7 days AFTER we had inseminated her with Fire An Ice semen! Not only was I shocked, but our vet was as well and stated that after all the years he has been breeding horses, Fire An Ice was definitely the record holder. Again, thank you so very much. You helped make this breeding season a totally successful one and you can definitely count on the Double-K to breed at least 3 more mares to your stallions next year.
Very Sincerely;
Wendy Krupicka

Dear Kathy;
This letter is in regards to the fine service you have given us pertaining to the semen shipments. You always have the shipments here on time. You are always friendly and courteous. You always keep my cost on your part to a bare minimum. This makes breeding horses a lot more fun when we work with someone as nice as you! We appreciate your fine attitude and good service! We are excited about having Fire & Ice and Silverado foals! We will certainly recommend you to other breeders and let them know you are very honest and reliable! Looking forward to doing business in the future.
Respectfully yours,
Jo Long, AZ

Hi Kathy:
It’s me Sharon in Las Vegas. Malibu is doing GREAT! He will be going to the last chance show in Reno July 8 & 9th. My daughter, Amanda will be showing him in the AAOTR 18-39 Western Pleasure class and Jordy Johns will be showing him in the Jr. Horse Class. I didn’t know if you were going or not, but thought you might like to let the lady that owns his mother know so she could see him. I am so PROUD of him. He took to the bosal like a fish to water. He is so darn cute!! They will tape his classes for me, and I will send you a copy if you would like one. I am so glad we did not sell him, he is my boy!! and I love him so much! I am not quite ready to show him myself, but hopefully by fall. Jordy is doing an excellent job with him.
Talk soon,
Sharon, NV

Hi Kathy,
Just updating you on the beginning of Ice Kapades first show season. She is making us proud. We are in the ribbons every show, even some blues in hand. Each show she improves her performance. We are having the show photographers take pictures that I’ll send as they come in if you’re interested. Take care, Dawn Hi Kathy Ember was bred last week. I brought her home Sat. Hopefully in 17 days we’ll have a positive feedback! Just wanted to keep you updated! Thanks again for your wonderful cooperation through all this; it’s been a pleasure working with you. My vet agrees too! Ill keep in touch,
Danielle

Hi Kathy,
I think my mare Misty is finally settled by Fire & Ice. She breezed right trough her heat cycle without showing any heat to our stallion. I have been so excited about our filly that I wanted to let you know she is in training preparing for her debut in Country English Pleasure this year. She is really looking great and our trainer is impressed with her talent. If you are interested, I would like to send some photos. Her first show is in May and we can’t wait to show her off.
Thanks,
Dawn Parker

Dear Kathy,
We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter of Fire & Ice. We bred to our own mare, Triana Suprize, the fillies name is Fires little star. She is a blood bay with her daddies white socks. We showed her at a sport horse show as a yearling and she won high point in the American Warm blood division judged by Hulda Guerny- we have her double registered (1/2b Arab and American Warm Blood). She has also placed first at halter in A rated Arab show. She will be showing her training level dressage at Scottsdale. She is a beautiful and very talented athlete and several people who have seen her have expressed interest in finding out more about her sire. She does not have his color, but she has better than color......... a great attitude, lots of heart and great looks.

Kathy,
Just wanted to update you on Cody's progress since we decided to leave him with Gordon Potts and The Brass Ring until after nationals. If you will recall, we almost sent him to you to market him in your area, but Gordon felt he had a lot of potential and asked to keep him through the Western Pleasure Futurity at Nationals (he even offered to buy him). Cody went to his first show in September and won everything. He was ridden by an assistant trainer in the qualifying class and beat everyone (in a class of about 8-10), including Gordon. Gordon showed him in the championship which included the 4 and 5 year olds and last years Scottsdale champion, and he also won that class. They never had to lunge him, which I thought was very surprising since it was his first show, and warmed him up in an arena for his championship class while it was being drug. Gordon just rode around the tractor like it wasn't there and it didn't bother Cody at all. We have sold him to someone in Gordon's barn pending a vet check, which we anticipate will go just fine. We got a very good price for him. Just thought you might want to watch for him at Nationals.
Sincerely,
Cheryl Nelson, TX

*As a footnote to the above letter, this horse became the 2003 U.S. Western Pleasure Futurity Champion. Congratulations Dakota Fire, owner Cheryl Nelson and great job to trainer Gordon Potts.

Kathy,
All went well, my mare held on to the 40+ follicle through Sunday- we used the second dose and she ovulated later that day or night so this seems like a really easy breeding. The reproduction vet just raved about the professionalism of your farm, he was extremely impressed by the detail of the semen analysis you enclosed with each shipment. He claims that often, his clients get a piece of paper with their shipments that says "semen" on it, and doesn't even include the name of the stallion.
Thanks and take care,
Laurel Whitmire,GA

Tom and Kathy,
I have one of your 3/4 Arab Fire and Ice fillies in Miami, Florida, I sent you pictures when she was a few weeks old...but she just gets more beautiful with each day. She is seven months old now, and her mane is coming in blonde to match her tail. (The roots are completely white.) She is a golden chestnut with a white blaze and two white stockings. Her head is very nice; it tapers down to a small muzzle with large inquisitive eyes.
Thank you,
Mary Beth Klock Perez, FL

Kathy,
I just wanted to update you on my "Fire and Ice" baby "An Ice Angel". She is now just over 2 1/2 years old and has just started her training. I accompanied "Angel" and her trainer on her first trail ride the other day and was so impressed with her. You would never know she was a completely green horse out for her first ride. We encountered many scary "Palomino eaters" on our ride (charging dogs, bags blowing across the field, stream crossings, gullies, hat scraping trees, narrow passes with barbed wire fencing on either side, and traffic through one section). She never even flinched at any of it. She moved forward at a brisk pace (but never broke from a walk), confident and eager to see all the sites. She is doing equally well in the arena. She responds to a very light hand and usually understands what you want after a couple of tries. My trainer (Julie Burleson) is most impressed with her eager attitude and level-headedness and says she is one of the easiest horses she has ever worked with. Thought you might like to know how one of your fire and Ice offspring is doing (and I couldn't resist bragging a little).
Jaye Jenson and Angle

Kathy,
I have been meaning to send you an update on our Fire and Ice filly. She is such a joy to work with and a real people horse. Everyone comments on what a beautiful girl she is. She comes running for attention whenever we head toward the barn -- loves to be brushed and fussed over. I'm sure you've heard all this before. If next year's foal is even close to this one, we'll be delighted.

Kathy,
Khyrstal is truly something special! Her presence and self-confidence are very disarming. We had someone drop off a dog to board with us at Christmas, Khrissie was in the stall behind them and they could only see her head and neck in the dim light-- the lady turns around and said "my god, what a beautiful horse"-- You must be very proud of what Fire and Ice is producing-- beautiful, intelligent, athletic, and just fun to be around horses.
Thank you very much,
Michele Shifler, ID

Tom and Kathy,
Thank you so much for your help and hospitality! I am delited with Gold and Boi ("Xanti now"), and I couldn't be more pleased that he will have such a wonderful home with you and Joanne this summer. All the way around, you've made my dream come true. I do hope I can come and visit again. Maybe in early July if that would work for you. And then on to SantaYnez in August. In the meantime I look forward to staying in close touch and to seeing the video when it’s ready.
Yours,
Judy Walker, CO

Tom and Kathy,
Just a note of thanks for helping with my Fed-Ex frustrations, even after riding an extra 90 degree day in a Fed-Ex vehicle, my vet said the Silverado Bey sample was the best shipped semen he'd seen all year.
Many thanks,
Tamie Pike,WA

Hi Kathy,
I would like to comment on your service. You have been one of the very best, most responsive stallion owners and rapid transit semen shippers I have ever dealt with. Collecting semen 7days a week is almost unheard of anywhere else. One stallion I was considering purchasing breedings to, I had to call three times before I even got a message left on my recorder and they were aware it was for multiple breedings. You always return calls and email very promptly. My dealings with you have been the best and I would recommend you to anyone, especially a first time buyer or breeder. I wish you much luck with the Morgan stallion; you might really be on to something there. Take care. Laura Braun, CA P.S. Your wedding picture is beautiful, the Bellagio is the best, isn't it?

Kathy,
Good morning, I hope everything is working out well and going great for you. I have been thinking of you for a while now and decided to drop you a note. I really want to thank you for you help and encouragement. Especially for working with me in a time of crisis.. you are not only a friend, but a real compassionate business person. I do appreciate it and I will never forget this favor... in fact if there is ever anything I can so to help you, no matter what- please let me know. I better go, oh, what about the new stud colt....how much is his stud fee for next year? What are his blood lines? Please let me know when you get a chance. I will talk to you later.
Thanks again,
Sheri, NM

Kathy and Tom,
I wish to thank you for your assistance in facilitating my last minute breeding plans, when my mare came in to heat sooner then expected, you were able to take credit card payment and rush the semen to me in Northern California. I am pleased to report that my mare is now checked 16 days in foal. This was also a pleasant surprise for my vet, who expected much more difficulty getting her in foal, as she is a maiden mare with an unusual heat cycle. I look forward to a gorgeous, healthy palomino foal next year.

Kathy,
When I purchased Tu Kaia and Turquoise Tu you told me that one of the advantages of buying a horse from you is that you were committed to standing behind the progeny of your stallions. I have since experienced the way you stand behind your horses and it goes for beyond just marketing the offspring of you stallions. I have learned that you stand behind every horse you sell and your clients as well. I have learned that you are available, consistent, and understanding. I really appreciate the way you marketed Tu Kaia and made sure she was going to a new home where she would be happy and well cared for. I also appreciate all the work you did to make sure that both Carolyn and I were happy and secure with the arrangements. Everything went extremely smoothly thanks to you. It is a real pleasure to work with you and I thank you for all you have done for my horses and me.
Love,
Genevieve, KS

Dear Kathy,
On May 29th we had the most beautiful palomino filly! she is huge! Very straight legs. She has a huge hip and a nice big shoulder to go along with it, great neck! She moves as pretty as can be...deer like. You've been THE BEST to work with and I will recommend you to everyone I know. Thanks again and maybe we'll see you in the future with a winner!
Sincerely,
Rhonda Petrillo, CA

Kathy,
Thought you night be interested to see how Instant Karma made out of her first show. As you may know, it was a long road for us. Her mom, a beautiful Champion mare in her own right was a difficult mare to settle and keep in foal. After 2 years trying Karma was born healthy and happy. The next day we lost her mom to post-partum twist. Karma survived with the help of Sprinkles an old appaloosa mare, who never-the-less a good nanny. Karma has inherited her good temperament for her sire, Fire and Ice, along with his lovely flaxen color. We are very proud of this first ribbon, because it took so much to get here. She will be an outstanding western pleasure mare and will hopefully grace our farm for many years to come.

Kathy,
Well we are really getting to the point where I don't even want to bring home the ribbons..... what a problem I have. Kahlua was HA Trail Res Champ at Whittier Lions, Rancho Calif show and the Reg 2 qualifier at fiesta Del Mar. He was also the Champion of the Reg 1 qualifier at Fiesta and I won both the AOTR for Reg 1 and 2 qualifier. This is our first year in the bridle and I expected to be steering for a long time but he is already getting it, even with all the rain we had. We were going in and out of those serpentine bushes with no trouble. So I guess we are as ready for Nationals as we can be. We are going to Slopes, Reg 1 and Reg 2 first. We now have 40 pts toward Legion of Honor; I really hope we get it this year!! only 20 more to go!! Yeah!! Do you have pictures of Kahula's little sis.......... I can't wait to see her. I hope if you sell her she goes somewhere close.
Talk to you soon,
Carol House, CA

(Carol owns Kahlua On Ice, who already has his Supreme Legion of Honor)

Kathy,
Thought you would be interested in an update on Hotshots progress with Joanne...... Paso Robles- Champion Hunter Pleasure Open Pacific Slopes- Champion Hunter Pleasure Open Not bad huh? Next step.........Burbank regionals.

Kathy,
Just a quick note, we have a beautiful chestnut filly (with a perfect star and strip) and at least three white stockings. She's very light in her legs, so I'm having a hard time with the third one. the little girl has an extreme dish with a beautiful jibah--she looks like she's been hit with a baseball bat and what a personality-- she's only a half day old and so full of herself. She has long legs and is a very light chestnut now. Her tail is mostly white but her mane is the same as her body color.

Kathy,
Just wanted to let you know that Hotshot won every class we entered him in. Including the Champion Hunter Pleasure class on Sunday! Joanne Fox rode him. She has done a wonderful job with him in the past three months. She already has a junior horse so Hotshot had to compete with older horses. He won Hunter Pleasure-Novice, Hunter Pleasure-maiden and then they Hunter Pleasure Championship class. Joanne had several inquiries in reference to him and even the judges called her over before her final victory pass to find out just who this horse was and what his breeding was! Everyone’s first question was "is he Fire and Ice son?" Actually I saw one of Fire and Ice's sons there.... Fire and Lightening. There was a second son there too if I remember correctly but I didn't get to see him.

Kathy,
I wanted to tell you that your shipped semen process worked amazingly well. We had to call you with a rush order because I didn't have the mare checked until I knew it was almost time. Well, it was time, so we had to bother you with a drive to the airport. My vet also made a late night drive to the airport and inseminated the mare as soon as she returned. The vets were very impressed with the semen and remarked that you must be managing fire and Ice perfectly. The timing was perfect, so once was all it took. It couldn't have been any easier, except for the trips to the airports. I just wanted to thank you for your excellent customer service. The nice information packet, video and website made it simple for an amateur-owner like me to breed a mare to a high-caliber stallion like Fire and Ice. Thanks again,
Robin Stender,OR

Kathy,
I know you have a zillion emails to answer-I think one of the most rewarding things about breeding back to Fire and Ice is working with such responsive and caring people like yourselves and knowing everything will be handled as it should be. It’s very much appreciated.
Thanks again,
Michele

Kathy,
I'm so overwhelmed by Firey Ice’s showing yesterday morning. She again took 1st place in Purebred 2-year-old Fillies, followed by the Junior Championship and this time the Grand Championship Purebred Mare of the Connecticut All Arab Show!!! My hands were shaking when I was taping her classes. She knew her job and did it perfectly. But I still love the way she "steals the show" with her presence and elegant wide-eyed expression. If she never won another class it would not matter to us. She is such a sweetheart. My husband is totally captivated by her. He never thought that a "horse" could be so enchanting. YES! Good girl Firey Ice. Now let's pick out the colors for your new barn windows!! Pictures are going out this afternoon.
Chris Ouellet, CT

Kathy,
Fire and Ice's semen arrived and we AI,d Malente yesterday. Today's check showed she had ovulated, so that's perfect. The semen you shipped was superb quality-- in fact, even though we did not use the second straw today, the vet checked it and was so impressed, she wanted me to hold it until tomorrow just to see the motility again! I'll Fed Ex the Equitainer back tomorrow after she leaves, but you have totally blown her away with the very professionally typed information sheet, wonderful quality semen and general "professionally" handled approach. You for outperform the others we have dealt with in our first time out for a mare breeding season. Thank you so much. Malente will be checked for foal status on April 20, and I will let you know about that.
Sincerely,
Deb wilcox Nokomis

Kathy,
Feel free to use my letter. Your service is unbelievable and the vet was blown away by the semen. She had foal emergencies so she couldn't get here until 2 this afternoon, so I had missed the "in town" Fed Ex pickup. (This is a truly RURAL area) Anyway, I sent the equitainer back UPS overnight and enclosed your prepared label for you to use on someone who can access Fed Ex- didn't want to do a three hour drive to use it, but really appreciated it being included and your name already on the container. Thanks so much and will keep you posted.
